About this event
Workers and Instructors for our Street Survival School register here! And thank you for volunteering!
Saturday November 18th
6:30 am - 5:00 pm
The primary emphasis of the Tire Rack Street Survival® is a "hands-on" driving experience in real-world situations. We use the student's car to teach him or her about its handling limits and how to control it. The students will become more observant of the traffic situations they find themselves in. They will learn to look far enough ahead to anticipate unwise actions of other drivers. As the students master the application of physics to drive their cars, they will make fewer unwise driving actions themselves. They will understand why they should always wear their own seatbelts, and why they should insist that their passengers wear seatbelts, too. In car instructors, please take this course if you have not already done so. https://streetsurvival.org/schools/become-a-coach/
Event requirements
Are you instructing? Have you taken the required online instructor training? If not, you can do so here.
This course is designed to give you some insight into the mind of a contemporary teenager and to provide you with some tried and true coaching techniques for this special audience. You must complete this course before November 17, 2023 in order to instruct at this event.
If you're not instructing, you don't need to worry about it.
